Since she was 21 years old, Tonia Pinheiro (tone’ya peen-yay’-row) has been examining the sources of her fears, confronting her judgments and beliefs, dropping her assumptions, breaking her spells, revealing her secrets, and finding her voice through self-reflection, improvisational creative expressions, writing and poetry, spiritual and healing practices, and accepting help from trusted others.
In 2003, despite her professional credentials (M.A. Organizational Management, B.A. Legal Services) and a 30-year senior management career in human resources, labor relations, personal communications, training and development), Tonia couldn’t find another position after leaving a toxic work environment. The time had come to be more aligned with her Soul’s purpose and who she was creatively and spiritually. This led to the creation of Wake Up! Works, offering organizational consulting, and public workshops and events to improve the quality of people’s lives, work and relationships, and have a more conscious connection with their Spirit.
