The Malphabet

Peter Van Schoick wrote this book as he recovered from a coma, after dying of heart failure and being resuscitated. He spent months in the hospital, learning to walk and think again. During cognitive therapy he collected an inventory of his favorite ideas, to make sure he could still think them. Thus, The Malphabet was conceived and is now born, pink and new. Perhaps it will fly on its own.

An exercise in wonderful absurdity

This book, simply put, is a wonderful collection of absurdities that defy the mundane nature of not only words, but reading them altogether. The author cast a harpoon into the brain of the white whale that he figuratively chased from the very literal jaws of death. My copy has been annotated with malphabet contributions of my own, making this an “adult coloring book” for intellectuals in the highest degree. Amaze your friends and thrill the ladies with this book just casually laying around your home. There’s no other book like it, and unless Peter releases a volume 2, there won’t be.
