The Elves of Valin creates a magical setting with a message for appreciating the environment, temperance in behavior and integrity of spirit.  This community of Elves is committed to helping Mother Earth – even if that means intervening in disastrous human affairs.

The main character is Belin-half human/half elf-with the power, skills and abilities of adult elves from before the age of two.  She struggles through the confusion of trying to establish herself in two worlds: healing the sick with her mother and protecting humans from warring overlords with dad.  She has many adventures but remains meek and humble of heart.

The most difficult challenge she faces is trying to understand why some humans are terribly evil, and how she and her people-both human and elf alike-can stand up for what’s right.
