Fear and Courage Today and Throughout Civilization presents how fear and courage have been the main driving forces for survival and/or success throughout human history. Also, the book presents how fear has become more prevalent today than courage, due to the lack of collective purpose, especially when society has become more individualistic or centrifugal, and/or there is a decrease of natural and economic resources, and increase of uncertainty.
