A great kids book

Full disclosure, Amir is a friend of mine, but I was amazed to find out he actually wrote this book as a teenager. My kids thought the story was good but was more amazed when I explained he wrote t when he was a kid and they could aspire to write books too!

This a good book to influence your child into what they can do at any age!

Love the ending

My 5 year old son and I read this book every week. It helps him learn about adjusting as you go and learning along the way. I especially love the ending when you hear about the background of this book. I love the illustrations because they are done by the author's children and gain insight to the author himeself.

A really fun read

A very sweet and accessible story. Especially liked the touch of having an “appendix” which was the author’s original drawings from when he was a kid. Most parents can almost certainly relate to the passing down of these sorts of oral adventures.

Gem of a read!

We ordered this book for our kids and they absolutely loved it...while I have yet to read, my daughter wasted no time to explain the entire tale to me. I have never seen her this excited about a story. Absolutely MUST READ! Highly recommend.
