This was a great story. I really enjoyed the warmth of this close family. The setting in the Sierra foothills and the town in Scotland was very unique and interesting. I especially found the murderous plot to be intriguing.

This book is a great story and a very good read for all those who enjoy murder mysteries. Can’t wait for the next one.

I hardly ever read fiction, but when I heard that Virginia had written this book I had to buy it. It was a great read! It had tragedy, family love; lusty love, parental love and an amazing twist in the plot that made you keep reading and not put the book down. I read the entire book in two sittings, it was that good! I highly recommend this book as a must read.
