A story of a young ten-year-old boy named Kory, who heads out to do his chores, on a cool and windy spring day. It becomes an adventure, as he sets out to feed the families miniature horses. Pancake, the orange cat, has thrown Kory into quite a predicament before he even gets to the horses. Pancake runs and hides, leaving Kory trying not to panic.
