Prayer Thoughts is a book for today. Life is becoming more complicated with country leaders warring with each other through words. Fear of a war to come seems to be looming over our heads. As I read and reread Prayer Thoughts I find it gives me comfort and solace and peace within. This book shows over and over through scripture how Jesus, as our friend, intervenes in our lives in powerful ways. I highly recommend this book to all those who are drawn to be closer to God and looking for a path to follow. I keep this book on my desk near my computer so I can take a minute to read a scripture when I feel my mind racing.
