The Children’s Book is based on true events of children being a military dependent and facing the challenges of schools that they are attending. As a child, one of the hardest things of being a dependent of a military member, it is not promising that you are attending school with other students you start off with until your graduate. As a military dependent, you always know that you will be moving every few years if the parents are relocated due to their job. It becomes an emotional rollercoaster for the children that will not see their friends that they made in school.
